Jack Stanley

Étudiant Doctorat, McGill University

Currently, I am studying how machine learning can be applied to biological and medical problems, specifically the integration of large and diverse multi-omic single-cell datasets. This research will directly contribute to our understanding of the subtle molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I am supervised by Dr. Danilo Bzdok.

Prior to McGill I completed an Honours BSc in statistics and biochemistry at the University of Toronto, where I was fortunate to receive both a Schulich Leader Scholarship and a BMO National Scholarship. Before that I grew up in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.
