Warren Gross

Warren Gross is a Professor, the Louis-Ho Faculty Scholar in Technological Innovation, and the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University. His research interests are in the design and implementation of signal processing systems and custom computer architectures. He has worked extensively in hardware implementations for belief propagation decoders of error-correcting codes and polar codes. In recent years he has been focusing on efficient hardware for machine learning, including stochastic computing, deep learning accelerators, logic-in-memory architectures, and hardware-aware design-space exploration for neural networks.
