Foutse Khomh, a Mila Associate Academic Member and Canada CIFAR AI Chair, has been appointed Director of Research and Innovation at Polytechnique Montréal. His four-year term is set to begin in January 2026.
A Full Professor of Software Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, Foutse Khomh specializes in the quality assurance of deep learning systems. His research is instrumental in ensuring the safe and reliable adoption of AI within the field of software engineering.
