Malik H. Altakrori

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Computer Science – McGill University, and a member of the Data Mining and Security (DMaS) lab, the Reasoning and Learning (RL) lab, and the Montreal Institute of Learning Algorithms (MILA). I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at Palestine Polytechnique University (PPU) – Palestine, a Master’s degree in Computing and Information Science at Masdar Institute (MI) – the United Arab Emirates.

Before starting my Ph.D., I worked as a Software Developer, School Teacher (math and computing), and a Lab Instructor for university-level courses.

Currently, I am pursuing my doctoral studies under the co-supervision of Prof. Benjamin C.M. Fung, and Prof. Jackie C.K. Cheung. My current research interest is in investigating the applications of Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing techniques for Authorship Analysis.
