Malik H. Altakrori

Student Ph.D., McGill University

Altakrori is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Computer Science – McGill University. He is co-supervised by Prof. Benjamin C.M. Fung and Prof. Jackie C.K. Cheung. Altakrori is a member of the Data Mining and Security (DMaS) lab, the Reasoning and Learning (RL) lab, and the Quebec AI Institute (Mila).

Currently, Altakrori is interested in proposing new “Evaluating Techniques for Authorship Identification and Obfuscation” using applications of Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing.

Altakrori holds a Bachelor’s degree (2008) in Information Technology from Palestine Polytechnique University (PPU). He completed a Master’s degree in Computing and Information Science (2011) from Masdar Institute (MI). Before joining McGill/Mila, he worked as a software developer, a school teacher (math and computing), and a lab instructor for university-level courses.
