Registration for the 2020 TechAide AI4GOOD Conference & Hackathon is Now Open

From November 12 to 15, the second edition of the TechAide AI Conference and the AI4GOOD Hackathon will be merged into one greater virtual event.

The conference aims to highlight projects with positive impact from the AI community, raise money for Centraide of Greater Montreal, and foster collaborations that could help improve the quality of life of Montrealers.

World-renowned researchers will present how their innovative AI approaches can be coupled with impactful projects in areas ranging from health and the environment, to accessibility and human rights. Speakers include Yoshua Bengio, Joelle Pineau, Reihaneh Rabbany, as well as leading experts from Google, the Vector Institute, the United Nations and DeepMind. The virtual event will feature two sessions, consisting of recorded presentations followed by live Q&A periods with the speakers.

The conference will be proceeded by a hackathon, bringing together nonprofit organizations with AI enthusiasts to encourage interdisciplinary discussion that will help develop and deploy concrete solutions to these problems.

Attendees are encouraged to donate to Centraide’s mission. Google Brain researcher and Mila member Hugo Larochelle has generously pledged to match all donations, up to $50,000!
