Toronto, ON, (May 2021) – Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, the world’s largest academic research center in machine learning, announced today that it has entered into a new partnership with Orbiseed. The new partnership will enable Orbiseed to enhance its machine learning capabilities by engaging and collaborating with experts in Mila’s expansive ecosystem which is made up of professors, students, industrial partners and startups.
Orbiseed’s AI solution helps construction and commercial property insurance engineers and owners to automate 80 percent of their manual workflows for increased profitability and risk mitigation. The patented technology uses natural language processing and machine learning to integrate with any internal or third-party data management system and to analyze, prioritize and summarize data. Engineers are then better equipped to identify discrepancies and eliminate error-prone and repetitive manual tasks, freeing them up to focus on higher-value activities.
“Orbiseed is a young company with great potential,” stated Yoshua Bengio, Mila’s Scientific Director. “The construction industry is still a traditional field that has some delays in terms of the digitization of its activities. AI has the potential to revolutionize this industry and we are happy to work with Orbiseed with this goal in mind.”
“We are excited to begin this partnership with Mila,” said Jack Liu, Orbiseed’s CEO and co-founder. “Orbiseed is on an incredible trajectory of growth and this partnership will help us to supercharge our customer offerings by maximizing R&D opportunities with our machine learning capabilities. Mila’s globally recognized expertise in this area will be an asset, in addition to the access it provides us to a pool of talented AI professionals,” he added.
