Philemon Brakel

At the moment, most of my research is related to deep learning approaches for solving problems related to speech recognition and structured prediction. In the past, I worked on a variety of topics including generative models, approximate inference, sampling methods and Bayesian inference. Recently, I’ve also developed an interest in reinforcement learning and how its ideas can be extended to other types of learning and inference.
