Biography
Laurent Tillement is the Director of AI and Health Partnerships at Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute.
He represents Mila in the life sciences ecosystem, where he works to establish close relationships with stakeholders, create partnership opportunities and develop research collaborations.
He has a Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Paris) and a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology (Georgetown University), as well as many years’ experience in academic pharmaceutical research in France, the US and Canada.
He is able to draw on his training in life sciences research and his extensive involvement in the different processes of drug development, from exploratory research to clinical trials. He is therefore fully knowledgeable about the positioning and impact of innovations in pharmaceutical processes.
