What is the Mila AI for Climate Studio?
The AI for Climate Studio focuses on delivering AI-driven solutions to help address the climate crisis. We translate artificial intelligence into accessible tools that fill a gap in rich, clear, contextualized information that informs what action is needed where and when.
How does it work?
The Studio brings together Mila’s world-renowned AI expertise, climate practitioners and scientists, decision-makers, and affected communities. It pools the knowledge and resources of invested collaborators to deliver innovative and adapted solutions that address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. In doing so, these solutions are made more affordable for each stakeholder and reduce the risk of effort duplication in response to a shared need. By delivering freely accessible, cutting-edge tools that meet the validated needs of climate actors, the Studio aims to accelerate the responsible adoption of AI and the realization of its potential as a powerful tool in the global transition to a more sustainable future.
How can my organization get involved?
We welcome partners who work in a wide range of domains relating to the climate and the environment, from climate science to biodiversity conservation. There is no need to have experience with AI. Partner organizations may be from any sector: private or public, academia, third/community.
