Mila and SonoNurse Partner to Improve Medical Verification for Patient Safety

Montreal, October 22, 2024 – SonoNurse VS and Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute are proud to announce a partnership aimed at optimizing patient protection during medication administration using artificial intelligence (AI).

SonoNurse is a Montreal-based studio developing medical technologies to bridge the gap between specialized medicine and primary care. This partnership combines SonoNurse's expertise in medical devices with Mila's advancements in deep learning. Mila will contribute its expertise to the development of SonoNurse's innovative AI solution to verify the medications administered to patients. The AI tool aims to provide precise recognition of key elements to detect and reduce potential medication errors, a critical issue affecting patient safety worldwide.
