I am Yu Bai, a Ph.D. student at the Beijing Institute of Technology. Now I am a visiting student at MILA advised by Prof. Jackie Cheung .
My research interests are mainly focused on Natural Language Generation (especially Text Summarization in cross-lingual scenarios) with deep learning approaches.
As large language models continue to gain popularity, I am currently researching ways to help them learn more efficiently by leveraging in-context knowledge and then understanding the working mechanism of LLMs. Additionally, I am passionate about extending the impressive abilities of LLMs to languages beyond English.
