Sophia Gunluk

I am a first-year Ph.D. student at Mila and Université de Montréal, supervised by Professor Dhanya Sridhar. My main research interest is in the intersection of the fields of causality and algorithmic fairness. My current research is focused on applying causal inference tools to design fair machine learning-based decision models while considering long-term effects.
