Manuela Girotti

Student Post-Doc, Université de Montréal

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Mila Institute, under the mentorship of Prof. Ioannis Mitliagkas, and Associate Affiliate Professor at the Mathematics&Statistics Department at Concordia University (Montréal, QC).

Until December 2018 I was a Post-doctoral Fellow at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO, USA), working with Prof. Ken McLaughlin on asymptotic properties of nonlinear PDEs and ensembles of random matrices.

Previously, I was an Assistante de Recherche at the Institut de Recherche en Mathématique et Physique – Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), working under the mentorship of Prof. Tom Claeys as team member of the European research project “Critical phenomena in random matrix theory and integrable systems” (CRaMIS).

I received my PhD in Mathematics in 2014 from Concordia University under the supervision of Prof. Marco Bertola.
