Biography

Rick Hink is Director, Academic Affairs & Administrative Support for Researchers at Mila. In this role, he is responsible for academic activities, student-researcher recruitment, student-researcher information, and administrative support for researchers. Rick and the Academic Affairs team work in partnership with Mila teams and academic institutions to provide the most enriching experience possible for our community of researchers.

Before joining Mila, Rick was Associate Director at McGill University Student Services, responsible for communications and front-line peer information services.

Rick has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, spanning administrative, teaching and research roles, and in non-profit organizations in the education and labour sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in International Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies/Peace Conflict Resolution from American University, a certificate in User Experience from Concordia University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
