Biography
Frédéric Osterrath is the Director of Innovation, Development and Technology at Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Research.
This department brings together experts in IT, high-performance computing and the development of software solutions tailored to the needs of AI researchers. Frédéric’s mission is to use his experience and passion to help research reach the very highest levels.
He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in a wide variety of roles in IT in Canada and Europe. This comes from working in industry and principally in research settings. He has played a key role in many successful projects that have led to the creation of companies, technological restructurings or awards of excellence.
He trained as an electrical engineer at the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal.
