Hasti Nafisi

Hasti is an MSc student  at Mila, Université de Montréal, and Ciela Institute, supervised by Guy Wolf and Yashar Hezaveh. Her research focuses on applying probabilistic models to astrophysical data, utilizing machine learning to reconstruct background source galaxies. Hasti’s academic background includes an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and a master’s in financial mathematics.
