I am Gauransh Kumar a first-year student of Computer Science Master’s at the GEODES and RALI lab within the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research (DIRO) at Université de Montréal. Currently, My thesis is supervised by Prof. Bang Liu and Prof. Eugene Syriani.

My area of research interests lies in Model Driven Engineering, Software Engineering, and Natural Language Processing. My major research focus is on the application of NLP techniques and LLM’s in the field of Software Engineering Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The goal is to automate the Screening phase of SLR using NLP techniques and LLM’s.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Maharaja Agrasen Institue Of Technology, Delhi India in 2023 with a major in Computer Science and Engineering. During this time my first Research internship was at Université de Montréal as Mitacs Globalink Research Intern 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Eugene Syriani. I was shortlisted in the pool of more than 20,000 applications around the globe. Apart from this I also took corporate exposure as a DevOps Intern at Datazip and a Technical Staff Intern at AIcrowd.
