Justin Marotta

Justin is an M.Sc. student at McGill University supervised by Dr. Danilo Bzdok. His primary focus is studying machine learning approaches for the investigation of population scale biomedical data. Through this, he aims to better understand major sources of interpersonal difference key to enabling generalizable findings in biomedicine and health.

Justin grew up in Toronto, Ontario and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University. Prior to joining Mila, Justin worked as a systems engineer at Cisco.
