Archer Yang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill University and an associate member of the School of Computer Science and the Quantitative Life Science program. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota and his main areas of research are on statistical machine learning, statistical computing, high-dimensional statistics, causal inference and optimization with applications in biology and genomics, medicine and industry.
