Biography
Anna Jahn is the Senior Director of Public Policy and Inclusion at Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute.
Her extensive experience both within Canada and internationally fuels her passion for creating innovative and inclusive spaces for leaders at the science-policy interface. Her ultimate goal is to shape better public policy.
Prior to joining Mila in 2022, she worked at the Public Policy Forum, serving as executive director for both the PPF Academy and the Action Canada Fellowship program. In the just over five years she spent there, she established the PPF Academy, spearheaded the Action Canada Fellowship, and designed and implemented professional and leadership development programs for policymakers.
She has also held leadership roles at the Centre on Public Management and Policy and the Faculty of Social Science of the University of Ottawa.
Her academic journey in the fields of social anthropology, sociology and African studies took her to Freie Universität Berlin, Stanford University, Aix-Marseille Université, and Benin in West Africa.
