I have completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Montreal and I’m currently doing an M.Sc. at McGill under the supervision of Derek Nowrouzezahrai and Pierre Poulin. My goal is to do research and development at the intersection of Machine Learning and Computer Graphics in order to contribute in shaping the future of visual effects software driven by the state of the art in Machine Learning. More specifically, I’m interested in Representation Learning, Generative Models and Dynamical Systems.

For the last decade, I have been working in the Visual Effects industry. I have spent the last years working as a Senior Effects Technical Director and Tool Developer in multiple major studios. I love to find elegant solutions to complex problems and always try to make things as simple and efficient as possible while maximising flexibility. Artists shouldn’t have to worry about what is going on under the hood while they create, it should just feel like magic!
