Research Scientist, Meta, Adjunct Professor, McGill University, Canada CIFAR AI Chair

Adriana Romero Soriano is a research scientist at Meta AI and an adjunct professor at McGill University. Her research focuses developing algorithms that are able to learn from multi-modal data, reason about conceptual relations, and leverage active and adaptive data acquisition strategies. The playground of her research has been defined by problems which require inferring full observations from limited sensory data, building models of the world with the goal to improve impactful downstream applications responsibly. She holds a PhD from University of Barcelona and spent two years as post-doctoral researcher working with Prof. Yoshua Bengio.
